Staff Sgt. Dick Alson Lee, Jr.

Staff Sgt. Dick Alson Lee, Jr., 31, of Keystone Heights, Florida, died when his mobility platform struck an improvised explosive device during a patrol on April 26, 2012 in Ghazni Province, Afghanistan. He was assigned as a military working dog handler to the 529th Military Police Company, 95th Military Police Battalion, 18th Military Police Brigade, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, Sembach, Germany and was deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. This was Staff Sgt. Lee’s fourth combat deployment.
