CW2 Don C. Viray, 25 of Waipahu, Hawaii, was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 25th Aviation Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, Wheeler Army Airfield, Hawaii. Viray died April 19, 2012 in Divalak, Helmand province, Afghanistan, when his Black Hawk (UH-60) crashed.

This quilt was made by Freedom Quilts for his family in honor of CW2 Don C. Viray.

Dear Betty,

My family and I would like to say Thank You for the beautiful handmade quilts. I can see that a great deal of love and care went into this quilts and we are truly grateful to received it. We will always treasure this beautiful blanket and I know Don (my son) would have feel the same way.
