Sgt. Paul F. Brooks 34 of Joplin, Missouri, U.S. Died: May 21, 2009 in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Unit: Army, National Guardsman assigned to the 935th Aviation Support Battalion, Springfield, Missouri Incident: Killed when his unit was attacked by enemy forces using makeshift bombs while on dismounted patrol.

This quilt was made by Freedom Quilts for his family in Honor of Sgt. Paul F. Brooks.

Letter from Paul's Mother

I think this is the first time I have seen this site. I just want to say how much that quilt has meant to me. I have it displayed where I can see it and touch it daily. God Bless you so much for doing this for us.
